Session fees
Session fee is based on the type of session and how many people are taking part in the session. Prints and print products are charged for separately. The fee covers a full hour session that should yield 40 to 60 images, all post production editing and a private online viewing gallery from which you can place your subsequent orders. Please enquire for a personalized quote.
There is a two to three week editing lead time between your session and your viewing and another two to three week processing and printing lead time between your order and print collection.

Apart from my stock portfolio, I only keep session image files for 5 years after which I begin to delete files for space. Be sure to order within this time. Please backup your disc to ensure no disappointment.
Digital files
These are high quality Jpeg images, that allows the personal freedom to print as many, as large (can print A0 size) and on any available print product as you wish. You will also have access to your session photographs forever - I only keep my files for a certain time period before archiving or deleting. This is a premium option, as you are purchasing the digital rights to your photographs. I use a We Transfer download which is an easy and fast option to download your images straight onto your home PC or laptop.

A range of print products from Canvas art prints, Light-jet C-type gallery prints and Giclée are available. All prints are custom printed in a professional lab in Cape Town.

What to wear
There are really no rules to this, I am happy to take you as you are. There are however a few things that look better than others. When dressing for a location session, you may want to dress seasonally, or take into consideration the colors of the location setting. While you don’t have to blend in exactly, using the season is a good starting point to give you a theme to work with. You want to be comfortable, so dress to the weather. Color coordinating is a nice way to create a unified look in a family portrait. I would suggest avoid going all the way and wearing the exact same thing. That can seem a bit artificial and forced. I like each person to be an individual. Please avoid loud logos, extremely bold, bright colors (particular in summer), zany patterns, loads of black. All of these things can be utterly distracting in a photograph and bright colors cause me endless problems in that they can create color casts on the face. Black can pick up a lot of white flecks. If you are stuck, I can send you some inspiration ideas, but most people have a really good idea of what looks good together.
